LinkedIn Phones

Phone numbers from LinkedIn profile URLs

What LinkedIn Phones is for

Email is crowded. A well-timed phone call to someone who fits your profile still gets answered, and for many B2B segments it remains the fastest route to a real conversation.

LinkedIn Phones adds a direct-dial channel to profiles you already have. Supply profile URLs, get phone numbers back where they are available.

It is a channel-widening step rather than a discovery step: the same list, reachable two ways instead of one.

How it works

Supply LinkedIn profile URLs — the same input LinkedIn Profiles takes, so both can run against a single list.

Each profile is checked for an associated phone number and the result is returned alongside the profile URL, ready to merge back into your existing data.

Match rates vary by region and seniority. Not every profile yields a number, and you are billed per result returned rather than per URL submitted.

The usual sequence is Leads Finder or LinkedIn Comments to build the list, LinkedIn Profiles to qualify it, then LinkedIn Phones on the shortlist that survives qualification.

What each result contains

FieldTypeDescription
profileUrlurlInput profile URL, the key for merging back into your list.
phonestring | nullDirect-dial number where one is available.
fullNamestring | nullName, for confirming the match is the right person.
headlinestring | nullHeadline, giving role context for the call.

What you get

  • Extract phone numbers from LinkedIn profile URLs.
  • Add a direct-dial channel to your existing LinkedIn lead lists.
  • Works alongside LinkedIn Profiles for full contact enrichment.

Example use case

An SDR enriches a qualified list of eighty prospects with direct dials. Adding phone alongside email roughly doubles the number of contacts they actually reach on the same list, without adding a single new name.

When to choose this source

Use this when you have a qualified shortlist and want a second channel. Run it after qualification, not before — enriching an unfiltered list wastes credits on people you were never going to call.

Limitations worth knowing

Coverage is partial. Many profiles have no associated number, and match rates vary considerably by country and seniority.

Numbers may be mobile, switchboard, or office lines depending on what is available. Expect a mix.

Calling regulations differ by jurisdiction and are stricter than email rules in several markets. Check do-not-call obligations before running a dialling campaign.

This adds a channel, it does not find people. Discovery has to happen first.

Frequently asked questions

What match rate should I expect?
It varies by region and seniority and is never complete. Because you are billed per result returned rather than per URL submitted, unmatched profiles do not cost you.
Are these mobile numbers?
A mix of mobile, direct office, and switchboard lines, depending on what is available for each profile.
Is cold calling legal?
It depends on your jurisdiction and your contact's. Several markets operate do-not-call registers with real penalties. Check the rules for the countries you are dialling before starting.
Should I run this on my whole list?
No. Qualify first, then enrich the shortlist. Phone enrichment is worth spending on the people you have already decided are worth calling.
